Their reproduction designs span Victorian, Edwardian, Federation, Georgian, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, French Provincial, Mid-Century & Retro eras, among others. The main finishes for Superior are the timeless Polished Brass, Chrome, Antique Copper, Satin Chrome & Matt Black. Some select products may come in Satin Brass, Matt White and more as well. They also have a patented ball-bearing mechanism in most of their door handles for an ultra-smooth, friction-less lever and knob action.

Superior Brass as a whole have three integrated but separate brands, Austyle Architectural which focuses on modern and contemporary designs as well as locks and hinges, The Builder's Choice which is centred around economy and project hardware, and this range, Superior Brass which is primarily targeted at reproducing various traditional and classic hardware. The majority of products like locks, latches & hinges will work between the three brands perfectly, in terms of both functionality and finish consistency.
