Fanlight Windows (also sometimes referred to as transom or highlight windows) are normally found above exterior and sometimes interior doors or larger windows in heritage-style homes. They are usually hinged at the bottom and swing open at the top for ventilation.

You can purchase a fanlight operator as a complete & ready-to-go set (excluding the hinge or swivel mechanisms). For a more economical approach, you can opt for a pair of fanlight stops, a fanlight catch, and a pole hook fitting (suits 25mm diameter pole/broomstick).
